Description:

This painting has been sold. Prints are still available. This painting depicts the meeting of the Assabet and Sudbury Rivers where they become the Concord River. This is at Egg Rock, on which an inscription reads: On the hill Nashawtuck at the meeting of the rivers and along the banks lived the Indian owners of Musketaquid before the white men came.
