The sun set marks the end of the day along Jekyll Island, Georgia's Driftwood Beach. The driftwood on this beach are evidence of the end of the trees' battle to hold on to it's spot along the beach. Located on the north end of the barrier island, Driftwood Beach receives heavy erosion which eventually washes the trees out to sea. As with all endings, this is also the beginning; the beginning of the night, followed by another day where the sun will rise and set again while the driftwood tries to maintain it's spot on the beach.
