Entrance To The Story Of A River
Sculpture - Gallery Entrance
Welcome to my gallery.
This work in about loss of the Tasmanian Rainforest, Landscape, indigenous species, bio-diversity, and water quality in the Cradle mountain alpine area and down stream to the sea.
Forest Industries have moved into the fragile alpine high country and removed Gondwanaland old growth rainforests, changing forever this unique ecosystem, destroying through clearing, poisoning and the use of fertilizes the bio-diversity of 65,000,000 years of evolution with culminated into the beautiful Gondwanaland Rainforest of Tasmania. It had only been managed by the Tasmanian aboriginals before our society moved here. Contamination of down steam ecosystems have resulted in degradation of the land, rivers and the sea all because of the need for news papers and trading with Japan. I hope to highlight the loss of, the unique species of Gondwanaland rainforest and downstream events, in my work.
I am giving the dimensions of the gallery space in the dimension of the art work, that is required to exhibit the glass art, the Story of a River.
