Epsilon Eridani A Stellar Spire In Eagle Nebula
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Hubble Space Telescope, NASA, photographed this Truncated Stellar Spire in Eagle Nebula. Referred to as a Stellar Stars Nursery, the entire spire is a soaring tower of billowing cold gas and dust 9.5 light-years away or about 57 trillion miles distant. The photograph involves roughly the mid-third of the tower. The dominant colors are produced by energized gas from the star clusters powerful ultraviolet
light. The red color in the lower region is from glowing hydrogen.
