This is a magnifcent painting. The detail is superb and the horse comes to life, you can smell the fear. It is really not so far off (Christopher'scomment above). I knew of a horse years ago in Placerville, CA who got loose in a storm and ran and was killed by lighting that hit a fence. This image brought all of that back to me. Powerful and moving!
