Painting - Oil On Canvas
Creation of paintings
These painting will get fame because there is always a story prevail with both of them. During the flight from Istanbul to Dubai I had conceived this style of work. The “Escape” is the first in this style and The Great Expectation is the second. Upon the intimation of Alexandria the Greek born American artist I had submitted them to 2nd International Art Fair in Greece where they exhibited and as well as published in their catalogue. This was my first ever exhibition.
For shangen visa I applied through Italian conciliate general Karachi where I had given great respect but my visa were refused later on the gruond that my name is on schengin information system, whereas I had never been to any schengin country nor I had applied for a visa before. Against this decision I had appealed in the court in Rome through my university friend Advocate Qadir Khan and simultaneously I had also appealed to the prime minister of Italy. Eventually we got clearance but after a year and I could not attend the first ever exhibition of my career and that was in my dreamland; the land of philosophers and actors. Since my sponsorship were also refused therefore could not availed this clearance.
The organizer (Despina Tunberg) had neither sent me the paintings back nor intimated. I thought they l had kept for sale and will send me the money. After 7 years when I searched on google I have found these paintings have reached to auction (http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/7366167
). When I inquired from a representative of Despina, he strait away said we had thrown many paintings. I don’t know should I sue them or not is yes then how?
These paintings have changed so many countries and so many hands and so many more can be. Although I could not earn money from them but I am glade the paintings are still alive. I am glade my paintings are in stories. My painting “ESCAPE” has escaped from me with “THE GREAT EXPECTATION” therefore I feel they will be safe for ever.
Growing up close to nature, a country boy in serene landscape with rich historic roots inspired in me a treasured study Literature, and Philosophy as well as the achievement of a Masters degree in Sociology. The years of study enabled me to develop intellectual sensitivity. This quality motivated me to follow ambitious aims and aspirations achieved through hard work; propelling me to heights of attainment.
In my art expression I have developed two styles.
Impressionist: I use this style mostly to preserve my conscious observations regarding nature, its divine composition and the close relationship with all organic life. In the process I attempt to portray the importance of humanity’s role in nature, tracing the historic changes though times, thus to preserve the past and the present for generations to come.
Deeply inspired by light and line I initially conceived subtle/exotic shapes on palm. Since then transcending sociopolitical and geographical confinement, I created forms representing spirituality and philosophical contemplation transferred from my imagined visions to the canvas. Art enthusiasts discovered spontaneous schools of thoughts in my work style, which initiates a dialogue. Still I am unsure of what movement should I attribute my art to, but I know the more the viewer examines my work the more you he discovers.
