Description:

After conceiving by the wind serpent Orphion, Eurynome shapeshifted herself into the form of a large, white dove. Heavy with egg and broody, she hovered over the ocean waves she’d recently created and danced upon. In time the egg came forth and Orphion wrapped his coils around it. The egg hatched and from it came all that was created. This painting portrays Eurynome in her dove guise, and beneath her the phase during which the energies of goddesses, divine female beings, and humans emerged into the newly made horizon. They represent all ages, colors, sizes and shapes of female energy. I offer a special plan to my patrons; payment by installment. Thank you, I think my favorite part of painting this was the sky, becauce the blues were grading, pluming and feathering just right, and creating the newborn souls flying about beneath Eurynome.
