Description
There was a Press visit today to the Eveline Lowe Experimental Primary School in Rolls Road, Southwark, which was designed and planned by the Inner London Education Authority and the Department of Education and Science working in close cooperation. The school opened in June 1966. The school provides for the whole nursery and primary age range up to eleven but the older pupils are housed in a separate building nearby which is being remodelled. The age range of the children in the new school is unusual, beginning at three and going on to nine plus, that is, to what is normally the end of the second junior year. The nursery class is children attending in the KEYSTONE PHOTO SHOWS: - A teaching class for some of the older children.
