Thanks Diane, By coincidence, the very moment I saw your post above, and started to reply to it, UPS rang my doorbell - LOUDLY. Startled me a bit. I wondered if your powers extended beyond the artistic. Of course the driver was gone by the time I got to the door. But the tube with your printed photo inside, was there. It's been maybe 50 years since I ordered artwork for my home. So I was excited as I opened the package, and carefully looked at the print. It is as I had hoped. Now I'll create the context into which to place it. To see the web page with discussion about select top photos, and my project plan for your photo, I highlight the url http://www.shaniatwaincentre.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5267&start=45 then use browser menu to edit/copy the url, then past it into the navigation toolbar for any browser. Works fine with Mozilla Firefox. Probably works with Safari or Windows Explorer too, tho I don't normally use those browsers. The url is not really a link, so that may be why it doesn't load through a search, on a search engine. In Firefox, I don't need to put an ".html" at the end of the url above, but in other browsers you might need to.

Hello Diane Stresing and The Forests Edge Photography. Thank you for your interest. I plan to set this photo, as a window in an image. The window lets light into a room on an angle. The room frames the photo and creates depth. I hope to have a scene in the room. There is an example of this type of composition and it's great effect, by an artist, in my home. In that piece, the scene in the room is more appealing than the room, which in turn is more interesting than view outside the window. I'll be posting that example soon. If I follow that pattern successfully, Diane Berry's photo will start a multiplier effect of pleasurable viewing, through 3 sequential elements in the image, and could lead to a stunning result. You can follow the development of this project, on my discussion thread of top photos I've seen, at this url: http://www.shaniatwaincentre.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5267&start=45

I wonder why no one is congratulating me on my purchase. :) Maybe they will, after they see what I plan to do with the photo.
