This was actually taken outside at a little wildlife sanctuary at my home. The bee was just working different globe thistles in the same pattern. So I set up my tripod, focused on the spot and clicked away when the bee came walking up. I had to flash because the exposure time was too low and the bee was not in focus ... that turned the background all black which turned out better than anything else I can imagine. My other globe thistle in my portfolio is the same thistle. Thanks for commenting Chip and Arlene! My best, Juergen
