Description:

This is an alley in San Francisco. The painting is 30x40 inches but I painted it in an hour and a half. It just fell into place. Each stroke counted. There is much white canvas left unpainted. The title comes from Robert Henri's statement that when we paint, it isn't about making a picture but obtaining those extraordinary moments. This was one for me.
