Fall's Natural Fire
Photograph - Digital Photography
I typically drop my husband off at a lake to go fishing while I go hunting...for photos. On this trip, he didn't bring a fishing pole, so I gave him my back-up camera and told him to start shooting!!
This is a photo that was taken at Sherando Lake, at sunset, while the colors were blazing!! I love everything about this photo and am so proud of his great work!
The Sherando Lake Recreation Area is a woodland nature retreat in the George Washington National Forest that is managed by the National Forest Service, Pedlar District. This Shenandoah Valley vacation destination is in Augusta County, in the unincorporated community of Lyndhurst. It is located approximately 12 miles south of the city of Waynesboro, Virginia, and is known locally as the jewel of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
