Description:
My 12-year old daughter is the most compassionate person I've ever met. This is usually a good thing, but her little bleeding heart can NOT resist taking in stray and feral cats. Okay, we don't actually TAKE IN the ferals (unless we get them as newborns), but she still feeds the colony and takes them in for medical care (including spaying and neutering).
It's true, Mom is also something of a bleeding heart when it comes to animals, particularly cats, so it's almost impossible for me to say no when I see my little angel wanting to help the cats.
We have come to a compromise. I allow her to give medical attention and food to the feral colony and she in turn raises the money to support this venture.
Here is what she has come up with: we take photgraphs of our brood (four of the six were born in the wild but my daughter raised them from their day of birth so they are no longer feral) and of the cats in the feral colony, then we put those onto cardstock and sell the sets of cards.
When ordering, please specify if you prefer a set with cute photos, more realistic (showing the harsher side of feral life) photos, or a mix of the two.
You will receive 5 different cards with accompanying envelopes.
The proceeds of the sales go to the expenses of the cat care. Simple system.
