Description:

Feeny is unlike any other newfoundland (of course!!) , just like one child is unlike any other. She shows off her curiosity and her unrepentant hairdo in this portrait. Her hairdo emphasizes her entire nature, she is my "punk rock newfie". Feeny climbs into my lap, all 125 pounds of her, every night for her "lovies" before she will go to bed, and her favorite sound in the entire world is her bell collar, for it means she is going to go and find someone! (for she is a search dog, and she wears her bell collar in her training and on a mission) Feeny is an irrepresssible soul and I cherish her friendship.This painting attempts to show just how sweet and funny and goofy and yet also just how wise she is.

This painting is an original painting on canvas board, with acrylic paint and a matte finish.
