I like the legend of the phoenix and Russian firebird myths, and often paint variations on this theme. Sufi wisdom states every soul requires two wings with which to fly through life; one of joy and one of sorrow. The balance provided by these opposites grants us the ability to maintain flight and navigate the unpredictable winds of life. If you'd like your print signed, please contact me.
