Description:

A most influential First Lady. In this portrait, I sought out the colors that I think evoke her character and personality. Strong solid primary colors in a bold contrasting palette. This was painted as a companion piece to the Barack Obama Presidential portrait also featured on this site. These images have been shown at the White House last month.
