Description:

This is my interpatation of Hassel Canyon; Cir. 1904. A miner is returning to his homestead after buying a new Christmas buggy in Townsend, Montana. My Grand Father, Peter J. Meloy, ran an ad in the Townsend Star that read: Peter J. Meloy, agent for Cooper Wagons and Buggies.
