Description:

The First Sunset of Spring is an Acrylic painting based on a trip I made to the Confluence of the Mississippi & Missouri Rivers on the first day of spring. I always consider the first days of spring, summer, fall and winter magical and important days of the year. I make a point of going somewhere natural on those days. The Confluence of where two great rivers meet, the Missouri and Mississippi, is a mystical place to be at any time of the year.
