You know in your biography you claim you want your paintings to touch the soul of the viewer, and I have looked at a lot of paintings, and I have not felt a feeling like this since I was in the Lourve a couple of years ago! I also went to Venice for the Art Biennial and there was this little alley that led to a scene quite similar to this one, if a viewer had seen me from a far, and I sat down and looked out into the canal, this painting touches my soul, thank you for the memories!
