It was Lyn. Actually, in the dream I was standing on the Greek island of Santorini. A cloud turned into a ship. I'll have to do a Blog or something with the full scoop.

Description:

Flying Ships: Painting was inspired from a dream. One I will write out someday on my website. Notice that as you follow the ships to the background they become stars.

The Dream:
In this dream I was on my favorite island of Santorini in Greece. Specifically, towards the end of the island just outside the village of Oia, Others were with me. At one point I looked up at the sky. I saw a cloud form into a boat, more like an old ship. I turned to the people and said, �look there is a boat in the sky!�. As the people looked up more ships appeared. The ships landed and the people from the ships came and stood next to us. They weren�t interested in us. They were looking at the island, and said two statements; �So, this is where it all began.� And I heard, �The Lady Land.� The dream remains a puzzle to this day,

This particular painting I did while in the Delta region in California. I created a landscape that one might imagine for this region. In a sense I've brought the dream here.
