Description:

My artistic background started with nature photography. Therefore, I often use my skills as a photographer to help me capture the best quality reference material I can, and will later use for paintings when I am back in my studio. I was set up with my camera and long telephoto lens when I caught this bird out of the corner of my eye. I turned and fired off a burst of about 5 pictures. I was pretty sure I had gotten some nice shots. However, it was until later in the day when I got back to my computer and pulled the images up on my monitor, that I saw the bird had a fish in its mouth! I was pleasantly surprised.
