Baling The Hay farm country landscape
A nostalgic look back to a simpler life and time. A farmer is is driving his old John Deere tractor, baling hay for the livestock. The hay will be stored in barns to feed the animals during the winter. Cows are grazing in the hilly meadows in the middleground with peaceful pastures, crops, trees and rolling hills in the background. Painted in oil on canvas, created in 2011, size is 16"x20".

After the autumn corn harvest, farm family members are shucking corn and placing it in the corncrib. The barn and smoke house are nearby. Chickens are pecking, golden rod is blooming by the fence.
