A most beautiful woman, a rainbow and a luminous river with a magical bridge over it. Your art is so wonderful, Jane. And I didn't want to let the day go before I wished you a very wonderful Christmas and New Year. I'm so hoping this year will bring me, one step at a time, closer to peace.

Jane Small replied:

I hope so too! Thank you very much Nancy for your wonderfully warm comment and good wishes.

I love your work Jane for she is of the rainbow and it leads straight to her heart. Those beautiful eyes speak of it all. You have a nature beauty Jane that came from deep inside of you and come bursting though in such a spectacular way though you artwork. One can not help but fall deep into the beauty of your mind. You paint across the canvas like pages from your heart. The darkness in your paintings only show to glorify the light. In your painting Jane the light that stands out much and such is in your heart. We all have dark and sad time to deal with. Sometimes seeming never ending. But it is the light that gets us through them. So when dealing with darkness or sadness one look toward the light to find their way out off the sadness their in. She feels a need to follow the rainbow but knows not where to start or there it will take her. That is because of not understanding the working of a rainbow. We need not follow the ends rainbow for it follows us. No one see the rainbow we see, less they be in your eyes. For each person has there very own rainbows. In which we all have our own path to follow it. I love Ana Julia Fishman comment here she tried to follow the rainbow. I thing we have all tried that one or twice. Ana right though when she said I thing we are not suppose to find the end of the rainbow. For it's the pot of gold that got us chasing. We're chasing the wrong ends try to fine that pot of gold. Those knowing Ana she was bauble doing it for the same reason I did. That is to stand in its magnificent light and maybe look up from the end of to rainbow at the sky. The is a give from God. It is a sign in many ways. I also it a path from us to a brighter place. If you follow the rainbow straight toward the light within it you will fine when you reach the end of that where the rainbow stops glowing that you we be in a brighter place then for once you came. As we all have our own rainbow so do we all have our own path made jet for us. That path may not be always easy but it leads to a brighter place.

Jane Small replied:

Ken,you are so right. The rainbow appears to be in the sky but it is actually in her own "Being" as symbolized by the rainbow colours on her clothes. I might adjust my description to make that more clear in the light of your beautiful comment. Thank you so much.I appreciate every word and thought.

Hi Jane! I love the expression in her eyes: I see depth, purity, wisdom and confidence! Wish to have more of that myself :) In everyday life we often lose the contact with these qualities ... The more important it is to get reminded again by wonderful artworks like yours! F/V Greetings from Andreas

Jane Small replied:

Ana, I can imagine you running after a rainbow. In fact, I think you should paint just that! Maybe there could be a few "rare birds" joining in the chase ! Thankyou so much for your lovely comment.
