Stephen, thanks for kind comments on my landscape. The one weapon of choice we artists possess with which to capture and slay the viewer, is colour. While subject,brushwork,mood and composition are also of utmost importance, when my clients are being honest with me they say that it was the colour that first drew them to the work. This wonderful window you have so masterfully painted has just the right combination of warm and cool neutrals, and subtle touches of pure pigment, to successfully tell the story of this older building. Vignetting it like this, leaves the viewer wanting more. Please check out my streetscenes, I love painting the older part of town because of the character and charm found in longstanding heritage places.

I first want to thank you on one of the threads you and I commented on. Her piece would look better if she decides to do it. But this gave me an oppurtunity to view your work, and here is another master on this site. Wow, what great freedom and passion you give to the canvas. Bravo. A great gift God has given you. rh
