Yes and no. The dog was the first rescue that B.A.R.C. ever saved, but I also got a puppy out of the deal. I think I was the winner in that deal. You can see a painting of her here 'Daddy's Girl' I thought she was going to be my dog, but she absolutely loves my husband. He can do no wrong in her eyes. You can also see her in the foreground of 'Snow Day' and in the painting I did of both my dogs and my husband called 'Father's Day'. I really have to stop painting my dogs! I'm running out of wall space here in my home to hang them all ;-)

Thanks, I get that all the time. Even when someone is holding my canvas in their hands and touching the paint brush strokes they have a hard time believing that it is a painting. There is a quick and simple way to tell that they are paintings - actually 2. First is I just fill in the background, I don't do much detailing there. Second, if you are face-to-face in person with a painting I sometimes miss the occasional dog hair (I have 2 big dogs - Father's Day painting is my husband and both my dogs) that dries into the paint. Mostly I catch them in time and tweezer them off, but... The dog 'Freckles' passed away a couple of years ago, he was the first rescue at B.A.R.C.'s
