Description
Taken in Amboseli National Park in Kenya.
Light begins to peer through the clouds over the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sun began to come up a flock of sacred ibis flew across at the base of the mountain. The clouds broke only for a few moments and the mountain was covered for the rest of the visit.
Amboseli National Park sits at the southern edge of Kenya on the border with Tanzania. It is the perfect place to see Mount Kilimanjaro. It is also wonderful for viewing much of Africa's wildlife, but most notably African elephants. Birds are also a very common sight in the wetlands of Amboseli.

Look's like that would be a rather hard shoot to get at such a angle. You must of been as high as the bird's to get the shoot right . Impressive. I am also rather surprised how crisp they look in the sky.
