Freedom 1963
Today with the United States involved in 2 wars overseas, a Presidential election quickly approaching, there has been a lot of talk about heros, about those in the uniform of the United States that sacrifice so that We may have Our freedom. There has also been warnings about foreign terrorists, that want to harm America. I think it is important to remember that not that long ago people without a uniform spoke up, sacrificed, and died on American soil. Civil Rights Activists, Suffragettes, Union Organizers these people had as much to do with securing, for average Americans, the rights and freedoms We as Americans enjoy today. It is also important to remember, that the terrorists that oppressed and murdered these brave people, also called themselves Americans
