Freeport Winter Sunset At The Nautical Mile
FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While walking along the Nautical Mile, which is located in Freeport, New York on the south shore of Long Island on a late winter's afternoon. I reached the end of the Nautical Mile where there is a dock that extends a little bit out into the water with a Gazebo on it. The Nautical Mile is really known as Woodcleft Avenue in Freeport, but due to it's atmosphere of boating, charter fishing, great seafood restaurants all along the strip and bands of every type playing on each block it is a paradise to hang out on in the summertime. I enjoy going down to it all year round and on this specif day I got lucky as I was looking towards the east in the direction of Long Beach and so this amazing winter sunset going down and as the powerful winter sun began to set behind the clouds it still had enough strenght to give off this beautiful scene and show off its colors from behind the clouds high up in the sky and near the horizon. Great way to end the day.
