Michel Verhoef replied:

Thank you Dennis !!

Thank you very much Bill !

...a slice of life; wonderful Michel!

Revisiting this gem and admiring what a great profile he has!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Yes...he is very French I guess. This was taken in Aix de Provence. I visited a Frenchman there with whom I made one slide show with our respective pictures and music. It was a winner that year :)))

Ha, deze vind ik erg mooi! Het film noir sfeertje is super!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Dank je Danny ! Het is een oudje...een van de oudsten :) uit 2005

Very elegant black and white composition and the perfect capturing of a bohemian scene"

Great Moment of Night life activity, Michel! I especially like how you have isolated the glass of wine; everyone seems to revolve around it! Like the hub of a social wheel!

I agree with Dagmar ! I love the atmosphere here !! L/F

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Daniel for agreeing with Daniel and liking the mood of it !

Great instinctive capture... also the vintage look makes it all...vivid expressive work Michel...... v/f/l

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Fei for your kindest words as ever !!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Fei for your kind words !

Michel, no wonder you won a contest with it, the atmosphere is great, gives a Feeling as to be part of the Scene........

I like the atmosphere and that out of focus which gives more anonymous aspect to people...Excellent as ever!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Ana ! It is one of my oldest pictures here taken in France when I was visiting a Frenchman with whom I made a slideshow. It won the national slideshow contest in that year :)))

Michel, I love this ! I hear glasses clinking and a rumble of conversation, and I smell the smoke and the alcohol in this pub setting. This photo has a verycinematic look as others have said, very nice and unaware capture ! l/f

Outstanding capture, Michel! You captured the mod..the feeling..is absolutley wonderful!/Lf

Fantastic scene and mood. Makes me want to have been there. Awesome work, Michel! L/F/Shared

Fabulous classic!

Love this absolutely French scene and cinematic look, Michel! Great work!

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks again for the revisit !!

This is so damned atmospheric it's almost noisy!! Brilliant L/F X :)

You got this very special feeling like sitting with these bunch of people and having a great time....very intense, very near, very easygoing! Great chosen classic touch with this black and white touch!

Michel Verhoef replied:

It's an oldie :) made in my slide show period...thanks for finding it :)

L'appero and the Pastis culture before lunch is unknown to American cultural Status quo....if you drink at lunch time you are an alcoholic....that if you have time to go out for lunch!!!!!

Michel Verhoef replied:

But this is way after lunch....but before dinner :)) thanks for your revisiting Omar :)

I can hear this shot, and smell it. I feel like I'm there! Lf

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Colleen for liking this oldie...made in my French period :)

Very cinematic...

Michel Verhoef replied:

Thanks Marina for your words :)

Thanks James !
