Description:

I started this piece with photos of heirloom tomatoes from my garden, then collaged images from gardening magazines, and finally added paint and gel medium to create the textured background. The fininished work was featured on a postcard for a juried gallery show in 2009, and won a merit award at The Southeastern Mixed Media Show in 2010.
