Description:

I shaped this burnt clay bust after one single black and white photograph picturing the Nietzsche bust by Max Klinger from 1902 back in 1974 and added acrylic paint in 2008.
I see Nietzsche in metallic colors with graying black hair and unhealthy silvery complexion. His bushy brows don�t allow a look into his eyes and the heavy moustache disguises his mouth.
