Excellent depiction. This is something everyone can relate to. It's raw emotion that grabs the viewer! F/V

Michael Cross replied:

Thank you Hazel! It is not overly accepted to depict such raw emotion so it is very nice when viewers "get it". Thanks again

I think your image is powerful, and I agree, that sometimes these things must be depicted do it others will relate..we have all been in tough times, there is no escape, and so it is a part of Art.

Michael, what powerful heartwrenching emotion. I can feel their pain. I lost a very very close loved one this past week. I will now have to become this very picture. I will be both here.... such tragedy, so sad. I think you did such a fantastic job! This deserves a feature in our group! Thank you for sharing such emotion. Carla

Michael Cross replied:

Thank you so much Carla. I am very sorry to hear of your loss!! Raw emotion can be very hard to look at and face but Ithink it is important part of the artistic journey. I am in the process of developing a series (hopefully a show) of pieces depicting, supporting and educating about those living with depression and mental illness and their loved ones. I have only shown a few pieces publicly because they can be misunderstood. thank you again for your words and your art. You are very appreciated!
