Description
While clearing out my horse's pasture area, my eyes always glance to my late blooming sunflowers. Well, I quickly noticed that my sunflower had a lovely green grasshopper resting on it's beautiful face and petals. I apologized to my husband and daughter and explained to them that I needed to grab my camera across the street in our home. My husband tried to explain to me that the grasshopper most likely would not be there when I returned. However, this photograph most definitely proves that he was waiting for me to return. He let me get my lens right up close and even though I expected him to leap away, he let me shoot forty three frames. I had to stop because my battery on my camera died. He was a very patient grasshopper! I wish I could let him know how much fun it was to take his portrait. He is a devilishly handsome grasshopper, don't you think?
