Wonderful scaley things! I'd missed this one too, and I really like it! The creatures really come to life against the background.

hello Barbara, I am very impressed by your work, you exhibit a great cpacity to connect with different life forms and as one who has been an amateur herpetologist you captured the feel of an iguana personal life. Yeah, I too have had them for a meal several times in Thailand and Loas - were quite tasty actually which made it easy to keep my hosts happy.

First, thanks to all.. and second.. Steve, the colored pencils came before the other stuf. I've been using them for around 20 years and love them but they don't always have the colors I need.. after all, necessity is the mother of invention!!

Barbra I know I have commented on this one but I really want everyone to see it. I know it's hard to see as a thumbnail so click it on and watch the beauty appear. The print hasn't come yet but I will let you know as soon as it does. Linda

Hey George! Glad to see you back. In actuality, this one was an experiment. I'd never really attempted anything with scales and wanted to see how difficult/time consuming it would be. It ended up being a ball!! I enjoyed this one so much that I did 3 or 4 scaley things.. And thanks..

This one is another favorite. Something about reptiles and you've captured their essence perfectly.
