William, Excellent photo, great detail and remarkable capture of these two woman dressed in the Geisha clothing. They always say when you are photographing an animal or a person or painting them make sure if you are going to get the front make sure the eyes are done right and you have done a great job here. Love the one Geisha girl to the right kinda sheepishly looking over her shoulder to the Geisha girl on her left, a little humor between the girls. Wow, William! Wherever did you find them? The spare setting looks almost as if it could be in Japan somewhere, but there is such a fun twist with them eating American sandwiches. The expressions are priceless, too. It's as if one has just made a "catty" remark to the other. Gossip is the same everywhere! Great Capture! voted

Thank you Cheri! They are performers who make appearances in traditional Geisha garb at festivals, schools, etc. This was shot at the Japanese Festival in Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.
