On the famed 17 Mile Drive on the Monterey Peninsula, nearly everyone know of what many call the most photographed tree in the world, The Lone Cypress. What is not as well know is the Ghost Tree you have to drive right by to get to the Lone Cypress if you enter from the Pacific Grove side.
This is NOT the Ghost Tree but it is one of many really great old trees and offers sightseers some of the most spectacular scenery along the entire Drive. Too bad so many whiz right on by without stopping. In my opinion, it is worth seeing every bit as much and maybe more then Lone Cypress.
I do have a photograph of both the Ghost Tree and Lone Cypress here on FAA for your collection.
