I'm not quite as appreciative, I used to sail and keeping the hull clear of them was a pain.

Thanks Ausra. It's inside a tunnel you walk through designed to look like you are a small fish in an underwater environment...the barnicles are at least 6-8cm across. Nothing is or was alive.
