Description
The title "Giants" means "Intellectual Leaders." In my opinion, intellectual leaders cause bigger impact on mankind than political leaders. Throughout history, a handful of geniuses have led us to become the dominant species on earth. Theorists learn from nature and inventors use that knowledge to create new tools and technologies. Finally, we use their inventions. The whole process starts with theorists.
What I want to express in this painting is that theorists lead us intellectually and link us to nature. In the middle of the painting, there are 3 head-like forms which represent theorists. Below them is a geometrical or artificial pattern which represents mankind or the world we create. Above them is a natural pattern which represents nature. 3 is one of my favorite numbers for composition. Among 3 heads, I focus on the middle one by adding variety to the left and right ones.
My English is not very good and I'm no expert on anything. This is only the description of this painting. If you see other meanings in it, please leave a comment behind. If you want to see the print's actual brightness and color, please calibrate your monitor first.

This one is growing on me. It is disturbing while it is appealing. I like a painting that can do that to me as the viewer. Push and and pull me around like a rag doll. It definitely impacts on me. Your nice description helped me get into this one. Your personal intentions became meaningful to me only because you were able to expand upon them like you did so eloquently. The Theorists! I like that! Giants, indeed! VFS I want to share your description on my Facebook with your painting, Thank you.
