Fantastic piece and love all the discussion it caused in the comments. Your sense of color is incredible. Glad to add it to the Wine Growing Pouring and Enjoying group.

Elisheva Nesis replied:

Thank you for kind words, Christine!

I agree with Carolyn, there is so much in this piece to consider, for me the watch sliding off her wrist represents time lost, a sense of being unfulfilled, unmet expectations and disappointment .. it is overall an excellent work. Bravo!

Elisheva Nesis replied:

So deep and interesting comment, Chaline! Many thanks!

Very interesting and revealing to me Elisheva. For me, I see the loss of an innocent girl and how through circumstances she has grown to be rather hard and non trusting. I see the plant with lack of water and the family picture on the wall but no faces. The loss of childhood. The little doll with her arms outstretched toward the grown version of herself. The watch ever telling how time slipped away. Love this piece it really speaks to me as I can relate on a deep level. Thank you so much for your great talent and being real and vulnerable in your artwork. Bravo!!

Elisheva Nesis replied:

Thank you, Carolyn, your words are better then my pictures.
