Glow From An Exploded Star located in the Nearby Galaxy of The Large
Magellanic Cloud. This composite X-ray (blue), optical (green) and radio (red) imaged the glowing shell created by the destruction of a massive
star. The X-ray glow is from material heated to about ten million degrees Celsius by the shock wave coming from the supernova explosion shock wave. The age of the star remnant is estimated to be 2000 to 5000 years old.
