Description:

In early 2008 I was involved with an international horse charity originating out of Texas. Artists from around the world were asked each to paint a small panel and when all 144 were combined would create a 16’ x 24’ Mural celebrating the Glory of Horses. As a result, I visited many stables in search of photo resources that I might be able to use for my particular panel. I struck a report with this beautiful golden mare as she seemed to recognize me and was always so obliging. I did not use her for my mural contribution but vowed some time in the future to try to capture her great disposition and stunning beauty. She reminded me of my old Golden retriever but in a much larger package.
