Having not known these guys even existed, I was rather surprised when I saw signs pointing towards “Tree Kangaroo’s” at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary last weekend. Sure enough, it was true – there’s even about a dozen different species.
These guys are apparently mostly found in the rainforests of New Guinea and far north Queensland. Interestingly, these guys can apparently jump up to 15 metres to another tree – you wouldn’t think so by watching this lazy fella though.
