Description
This section of the Grand Canyon is further to the West than the Desert View Lookout which is the first look at the main section of the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon stretches some 377 miles. I particularily like this section of the Grand Canyon State since it is the first thing you see of the canyon when you enter from Cameron , Arizona. The dramatic light adds a whole different visual aspect to this wonderful canyon. In photography and painting I feel that "Light Is Everything"...great subjects still need great light to add its voice to the symphony...

Great perspective, Bob. The flat plateau and the contrasting deep canyon of the river is dramatic
