I love most of your work Sarah but I'm interested to know why a lot of your outdoor work is a little sad in the colors you use. Is that what inspires you more? Hope I'm not being too nosey asking you this.This is a great painting.

Jerry, if I seem gloomy, it must be the weather! I tend to have a dark or subdued palette, but I do love working with intense, pure color. Light is one of the most crucial components ..in general for my subjects, and I think late afternoon, early evening is most dramatic. Thank you for asking!! I appreciate the curiosity and interest...most definitely
