Description:

Long before I walked to the top of the hill in Nothern Virginia one day I saw this huge old tree standing guard over his younger siblings. the rolling Blue Ridge moutains behind in the distance were just bands of color. The highway in the distance caught the light and seemed to shimmer in the heat of this summer day.
