Half Shell On Ice

"HALF SHELL on ICE" by KAREN WILES
A rare find on the East Coast of North Carolina. The combination of seashells, ice and snow on the fishing docks. The seagulls will fly high above the docks and drop the scallops shells below in order to open and eat the succulent delicacy found inside. The result is a dockful of natural, seashell treasures left behind. There is something refreshing in the sweetness given to us from the salty sea. Especially when mixed together among the sparkles of ice and soft sunshine shown in Wiles' "HALF SHELL ON ICE."
