Description:
Hawaiian Garden Spider - This spider looks like it should be called the "Death Mask" or
"Spider of Doom". However, the local name if "Tiki" and its biggest dangers are the webs it spins everywhere in the garden, every day, every season. The webs can be huge, hanging from the house eves to the tree tops. When one walks into one, the spider flees but the web gets stuck to your hair, etc. Interestingly, the male with legs is about half the size of the female's body without legs. It appears she eats him after mating.
