My wife, daughter and I were returning to our campsite early one morning when we noticed the sunlight streaming through the mist in the trees. It was a particularly poignant moment because just before we left, we had to put my mother in-law into a nursing home because her early onset Alzheimer's had finally prevented her from living at home any longer. It was a bittersweet felling that weekend but somehow I felt that this was a note from God to say that all was well and everything is going to be okay...
My mother-in-law is affected by early onset Alzheimer's, and in her memory, I have decided to donate all the proceeds (100%) from the sale of this (and all my prints for sale on my website) to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. My fundraising goal is $10,000. Please note that my donation efforts are *not* endorsed by the Alzheimer's Society and is simply as a result of my desire to donate in the hopes of finding a cure.
Your support of my goal through the purchase of my prints is greatly appreciated.
