Hi Bernard! Happy New Year! I like Heavens Doorway very much-Like the movement and design and colors-I see the importance of using lights and darks-very dramatic and skillful painting. Thanks for your comments on my art. And-I appreciate critiques-so will email you privately one of these times and do a little brainstorming with you. Glad you like my chair painting;I am presently working on another one. Wish we could paint together-we seem to be likeminded when it comes to abstracts, especially. Hugs to you! Marlene :>)

When you break into this painting as a person cracks the spine on a new book it reveals an ever changing story. It is as if this painting had multiple plots, multiple scenarios and ever changing endings. I look at this work and see the spiritual meaning and then look again and see a completely different story. I read this as if the doorway were to be literally interpreted by many viewers with many interpretations. This is one of your more intense works. The gold on the edges is the 'gift' of the work. The interior is the journey. I am anxious to see this one in person....!

Hi, I like how you have both squares and rounded formations in this painting - fascinating pattern, however - I would like to see this painting without the frame! The viewers eyes will draw to the frame and that's not good because the focus shall be on the painting - I hope you understand what I mean it is just a friendly advise from me as the viewer here... Looking forward to your next one though..

Oh wow, seems that this work has all my favorite colors! I love your geometric style, Bernard! Despite the hard edges of geometric shapes you managed to create beautiful flow from one shape to another, I like those curvy lines! Very strong and appropriate title too!
