Thank you so much Dagmar for your lovely comment! This was a very emotional piece for me. I was in a very dark place. I have some chronic pain issues that I deal with daily and sometimes the dark place wins! I think the light shines through also though. I guess that's why art can be therapeutic. Thanks again, Rebecca

Rebecca Way!I April 23 I did not know English yet. Now,of course not,but take a chance!I wrote then: I still have time to comment on ,,Heaven,s Hell,,I want to reassure You in the belief that this picture is very succesful! You mention the spilled ink...and very well! The magic of the alrready wrote Leonardo da Vinci. In random spots trying to discern the real forms.Appreciate your spontaneity.Painter painting in the first place for themselves. You are authentic,as seen in the graphic.Let it be....Licentia poetica!!! Wonder what I wrote?English to Polish translation correct. As soon as I see and can understand even!!!!

Rebecca Glaze replied:

Painter painting in the first place for themselves! Wow Henryk, that is the best quote I have come across in a while!! I think you are doing very well on your English! I appreciate your comments sooooo much my Polish friend. I definitely paint for myself! My work is not very commercial, so I haven't sold a lot yet, but money is not why I paint. I don't seem to have a choice. I'm sure you know the felling well! Thank you for all your oh so beautiful words! Totally made my day! ;) Your friend, Rebecca

Droga Rebecca! Dopuszczaj do głosu spontaniczność.Malujesz w pierwszej kolejności dla siebie.Reakcja odbiorców jest kryterium wtórnym i nie najważniejszym.Wyrażaj siebie tak jak zrobiłaś w tym obrazie,który jest wyrazem artystycznej wolności.Licentia poetica!!!

Rebecca Glaze replied:

Hey Henryk! Thank you for your comment. I wish I knew how to translate it better, but I think I caught the main words. I've just recently started doing more imaginative work. "Food Of The Gods" was my first departure piece. I did it in the last six months or so. So this kind of work is kind of new to me! I find it much more therapeutic! Thanks again my friend, Rebecca ;)

Reno, NV - United States

I love this piece! It is so unique and expressive. Thank you for stepping outside of the box and putting down what is in your head. Such an interesting piece. I've looked at it several times and I find a new thing that intrigues me every time.

Rebecca Glaze replied:

Wow! What a great comment, made my day! I'm so glad you like this one!! It is a little scary to open yourself up and reveal what's inside! You never know how people will react! This piece was a lot of work, but it was exciting to see how it came together! Thanks again Brent!! ;)

Edinburgh, Lo - United Kingdom

Simply fantastic Rebecca , I have the odd surreal dream , and your outstanding composition features to a tee , full of intriguing detail that fascinates and captivates ... Woawwwwwwwwwwwwwww xx

Rebecca Glaze replied:

Thank you soooooo much Paul!! Your comment brought tears to my eyes! Hardly anyone likes this one!! Even art groups that have featured every one of my pieces, didn't feature this one. I can paint or draw a "pretty" picture all day, but that gets boring to me. I noticed when I was drawing that when I rolled the excess ink off my pen it would form faces and figures that were good!!! So I started this one like that, so most of this is totally out of my head and ink pen!!! Forever your fan, Rebecca

Starachowice, sw - Poland

Bravo Rebecca!Obraz imponujący i skłaniający do myślenia! V/F

Rebecca Glaze replied:

Thank you Henryk!! I'm so thrilled that I impressed you!! Rebecca ;)
